My daughter loves, loves, loves this book! The story is so entertaining while teaching the children the importance of a good, healthy diet. The book is well-written and beautifully illustrated. Would recommend this for all parents of small children. It makes teaching good habits easy as it is so entertaining for the little ones.
I love this book! Not only are the illustrations amazing and Kimi Sue and her family adorable, but the book really educates children on making healthy food choices. We live in a nation where more and more people are becoming obese. Overly processed and unhealthy foods are made more attractive and readily available than ever before, so it is extremely important to start the education process early to help our young make healthy choices for themselves. Kimi Sue does just this! I highly recommend this book to anyone with children in their lives. It also teaches about sugar gliders; animals unfamiliar to most children and can spark some great conversations about different kinds of species.
