Bad things happen to the people who live in Morton Farmhouse. This mystery novel poses the question: Will anyone ever unravel the cuimage001(1)rse that has plagued this home for generations?

Anne and her fiancé Jeremy pay little heed to the superstitious villagers who warn them that the beautiful house nestled halfway up the picturesque English hillside is cursed. The young couple move into the long vacant farmhouse shortly after their marriage, and for a short while, are very happy. Then strange things begin to happen, and it looks like The Curse of Morton Farmhouse has struck a new family.

The outbreak of World War II separates the young couple. Near the end of the war, Jeremy is killed in action, but not before fathering a son named Tom. Anne manages the home herself with some laborer help until Tom is of age to run the farm. Tom marries the daughter of one of the farmhands, and for a time, they too are happy on the farm. But their happiness is also short-lived, as The Curse of Morton Farmhouse resurfaces. Could it be that sometimes a house is just cursed?
